3-Step Template To Create A Case Study That Closes Your Leads

A case study shows your prospects your portfolio and the strategies you’ve applied to achieve results for your clients in that portfolio.

Having a great set of case studies is crucial for your business as it gives your leads a glimpse on your problem solving skills and effectiveness to complete a client’s project.

A basic template to create a good case study in three steps is:

  1. Understanding the project and its challenges
  2. Crafting your solution
  3. Show the end result

Once you understand the project and its challenges, you’ll know what kind of job your client is asking you to do. One of the reasons why this first step is so important is that you may end up discovering that the client thinks they need something but in reality they might need another thing. Clarity is needed when presenting the scope and challenges before providing the solutions.

Your solutions should indicate the ideas you came up with to advance towards the goal. Specify the solving and implementation procedures you went through. Like what tools were utilized, which metrics were used, or what creative strategies you invented.

Lastly, showcase the results. Show that what has been planned in the beginning has reached its fruition. Whatever the goal may be, indicate the numbers or product outcome. Whether it’s for a sales quota or website traffic. Whether it may be a digital art or a mobile app.

Your case studies can impact your business in a much more positive way than just testimonials from previous clients or galleries of your past work. Because not only are you telling your prospects that you know what you’re doing, but you’re also leading them to the right path.
